I left on Sunday from rainy-midwest-spring, spent three days in the-most-rain-since-1906 California, and arrived back today to SUMMER. Clear skies, almost 80 degrees. love for midwest weather.

I got a hammock from mom and dad for my birthday in March, with March not quite wanting to let go of winter, i waited to do anything with it until i was sure spring was here. Now, after a trip to Ace Hardware for some rope to tie it up, i have a beautiful hammock swinging in my yard. Happy. me. In fact, at this moment i'm lying in my hammock with a pillow under my head, a fruit smoothie at my side, writing on my computer.

Summer + Hammock + Wireless Internet = very happy me.
