love fall

Last week really, for the first time, really started feeling like fall here. Crisp, cool air, leaves changing and falling all around us. I changed out all the summer decorations for the fall stuff Saturday and I started making cookies and reading recipes for pumpkin this and pumpkin that.

I wonder if part of why I love this season so much is because it's so short, and about the time I'm starting to get used to it - it's over. I have to savor every.moment.
