freaks me out when the doorbell rings at 10 o clock at night. Why would anyone have any reason to ring a doorbell at 10pm? And if you had a REALLY good reason, wouldn't you ring it a couple times? Wait around a little? Especially when you know the lights are on and someone is home and maybe they're taking a little longer because its 10pm??
doorbell. Adam had just gotten out of the shower so had to get dressed to answer it. No one there.

ah ahah - remember when the same thing happened and it was the security guy telling us that we forgot to shut the garage door?
um, freaky!
when D loved in Yankton we had a knock on the door at about 2 am...it was a very urgent knock but nobody was there when he looked out. We called the cops but of course they didn't find anyone. I don't think either of us slept the rest of the night.
