fuses
i love my boyfriend. when it comes to car stuff - changing fuses, tires, whatever-else-needs-done - I can do it. My mother taught me well to be independent an to make sure that if i didn't at least know how to do that stuff, i knew how to figure it out.
But sometimes, it's nice to just ask someone who knows. so adam changed a fuse in my car tonight - i'm not sure why it blew but it's wonderful to know my radio will actually work when i'm driving.
sometimes, i like just being a girl, and just having a guy to take care of me. Granted, i don't need it... but i want it.

there is something about men who know what they are doing under the hood. i mean...know how to do that stuff :)
i agree...tonight, my dad fixed my computer. i could've done it, but it was nice to hand it off and go read til he said it was working again...wait! is it sad that i like having my dad take care of me, and you have a bf for such things? hmm. --v--
Naah. not sad at all. same principle.
my boyfriend doesn't know how to fix things. but he tries, which is cute. and he did change my car battery once, which i guess is enough to make him feel like a "guy"
incidentally, if my dad were anything less than three hours away, he would be so used and abused with all the things i'd want him to fix.
